Little Surprises

This girl can put away the yogurt. And cottage cheese. And guacamole. With gusto. She's been known to run two spoons simultaneously in a paddle wheel-like action. We were cracking up watching her after she decided the service was insufficient and she would show us the proper way to dish yogurt with a soup spoon.

Stephanie swears Hannah's vocabulary size is accelerating. This week she's added "cheese," "cracker," "airplane," (we live under an approach path) "up," "apple," "d" (the letter), "eye," and "nose". Bit of advice for new parents of one-year-olds: exercise caution when teaching the word "eye". Enough said.

There have been some comparisons of Hannah to a kewpie doll. The accusations are ill founded and we can assure you she has no such curl atop her head.

We added photos from the last two beach trips. Yes, Cousin Helen found Hannah her first sand dollar... in January.
